After a spirited reorganization, newly elected Chairman Brad Cummings and the Jefferson County Republican Party are unveiling the first of many significant changes as they head into an exciting 2008 election season. At its new address www.louisvillegop.com, the JCRP has launched a website that rivals the quality and accessibility of the upper echelon county sites across the country.
“We are blessed to have a dynamic blend of youth and experience, breathing new life into our organization” said Cummings. “This is a strong first step in proving to party faithful that the future is now in the Jefferson County Republican Party.”
With a frequently updated news feed, blog and events calendar, www.louisvillegop.com is a virtual one stop shop for all things Republican in Metro Louisville. Users will also be able to link to candidate sites, sign up for email updates, learn about volunteer opportunities and help the JCRP invest in local campaigns through monetary donations.
“Our county party has been infused with a diverse, talented and energetic Executive Committee built to help Republican candidates win elections each November” said Cummings. “We are excited about our ‘virtual makeover’ as one of many changes in store for our organization in 2008.”

Wow! This is great! Having one virtual "place to go" to find out about everything Republican going on around our community. I especially like having the ability to blog. Nice touch, JCRP!
I want to thank the new leadership for hitting the ground so quickly and obviously having a plan in place from day one. This site is a great start and I look forward to a continual string of improvements in our local party.
If this new website is an indication, I'm cautiously optimistic that the JCRP has turned a corner. There are new people registering to vote as Republicans who are ready to work to return our Party to it's Constitutionalist, Reagan Conservative roots.
It is sorely needed this year more than ever.
