Survey USA/Courier-Journal polling shows Republican candidate, Hal Heiner, in a dead heat in the race for Louisville's Mayor. The statistical dead heat shows the race at 47-45, with just two months to go.
Heiner said he is "thrilled" that the race is so close. Jefferson County has far more Democrats registered to vote than Republicans - a 59 percent to 32 percent advantage." Heiner further commented that he feels that this news just proves that his campaign is perfectly positioned to win in November."
